LaCoste Design welcomes a new client BenBella Books, Inc. of Dallas, TX. Founder and Publisher Glenn Yeffeth describes BenBella Books as a publishing boutique that aims to be the publisher of choice for a select group of authors who value personal attention, a partnership philosophy, flexibility and a creative approach to marketing. We are designing the cover of an upcoming new book by authors Melissa G. Wilson and Larry Mohl.
We recently completed work with the Health & Wellness division of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce. It was for a new initiative being developed to promote healthy living and how it can benefit business. We collaborated closely with the Chamber team to create the 2012 Take Action Calendar. Focus groups with various representatives from the health care field were conducted to help identify important information and topics that are not top-of-mind for most individuals regarding their own health care. A self-contained printed and digital poster/mailer – that gave a specific health tip for each month of the year – was then concepted and produced. An easily identifiable graphic style was used to illustrate each of these tips – all produced in-house by LaCoste Design. The calendar has received a very positive reception thus far and the images will be utilized all year long at various Chamber events. Free downloadable PDF posters from the CCC web site were also created for each month to help create awareness and encourage participation by companies and their employees.
